The role
 

We have a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity available in our non-custody administration team based in Melbourne. The role focuses on general administration queries, reconciliations, data interpretation and analysis and building and maintaining relationships with key clients both internally and externally.
 


Key responsibilities

    • Act as a point of contact for general administration queries.
    • Managing external data feed and associated reconciliations
    • Data interpretation, analysis and subsequent problem solving.
    • Assist with the annual tax reporting processes
    • Building and fostering strong relationships with key clients internally and externally e.g Operations teams to ensure that reconciliation issues are addressed and with Auditors, Custodians, Clients.
    • Assist with the investigation and resolution of issues or problems raised and facilitate response within a timely manner.
    • Communicate and escalate all issues/initiatives to the Manager
    • Taking ownership and accountability for assigned project tasks.
    • Assist the Manager in reviewing all processes and identify any areas of risk and ensure controls are developed and implemented.
    • Adherence to HUB24’s and regulatory body’s compliance and a service excellence focus is consistently maintained at all times while working to service levels.

Key requirements

    • Relevant experience in the financial services industry.
    • Basic understanding of Corporate Actions and their effect on client holdings
    • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet agreed deadlines.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Must be able to be flexible and adaptable within the team environment.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word)
